About Me

August 25, 2020 by Lisa Kelley 1 Comment

I am a wife and mom to four kids- two boys and two girls- the oldest of which was the reason we began this journey of seeing things differently concerning health and toxins. You can read more about that in this post- “The Day My Thinking Changed.” Over the last 20 years we have been blessed to have had wonderful doctors, nutritionist, and health practitioners who thought outside the box and were not afraid to dig deep into the research (which most of the time was buried) and share boldly what they had found. For this, we are forever grateful. I am passionate about feeding my family whole foods, and using the least toxic products in my home from hand soap, to paint, furniture, etc. I believe in voting with my money and buying from companies that have integrity and care about people, not just the bottom line. Making a profit is a wonderful thing, but when it is put before the well being of another, it is wrong. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in Business Administration. The most important thing to know about me is that I am a Christian. I owe everything to my Savior. Without this relationship life would be meaningless.

Thanks for stopping by! I Hope that you find something that is helpful and encouraging.

Blessings!

Lisa

The Day My Thinking Changed…

August 25, 2020 by Lisa Kelley 1 Comment

In Sharyl Attkisson’s book, Stonewalled, she says, “The first time you catch the government in a lie, it changes you.” I would have to fully agree with this statement! I can still vividly remember the day my thinking changed, and would never, ever be the same again. My husband, I, and our two children (at the time) had traveled 12 hours to see a doctor; a doctor that we believed the Lord had led us to and hoped, and prayed would be able to help our first born son. We were so excited and had read of her work. However, what our doctor told us that day I was unprepared to hear. As we sat in her office she explained that she and other doctors had just testified in congressional hearings, the week before, about the dangers of vaccines and the adjuvants they contain. They testified about the dangers, specifically to the brain. Our doctor said that the FDA admitted that they knew the link to autism, but not only that, to all auto-immune disorders. She stated that the FDA also said the information would never be made public, because it would bankrupt the pharmaceutical industry and cause Americans to lose faith in the vaccines. I was stunned to find out that the very agencies that were put in place to protect individuals were not because of conflicts of interest at play, such as owning patents, stocks in the very companies they were supposed to be regulating. Information had been intentionally withheld. Informed consent, which is law, had not been given. No longer would I see things the way I once did, trust, or simply do because everyone else was doing it. Whether parents vaccinate their children is a personal decision that should be made with FULL informed consent. It is not a decision that should be made for us by a tyrannical government; a government that has enabled the pharmaceutical industry to have no liability if someone is hurt or dies from the vaccine. Our civil rights and liberties are quickly eroding. If not stopped, there will be no personal autonomy as detailed in our Constitution.

I may sound like I am bashing mainstream medicine. I am not, the system or 3 letter agencies, yes. I am thankful for the care that is given in the U.S. from wonderful doctors, nurses, health practitioners especially in acute situations. My mom is a retired nurse and I have great respect for that field. However, when an industry stifles information and intentionally covers it because of power and profits, something needs to desperately change. That day my thinking did…

It has been over 20 years since that discussion with our doctor. Thankfully more people are becoming informed. There is so much, scientifically based, information that is available to anyone truly looking for answers. It may take some digging to find it, but it is there. Truth always finds a way out.
